Peggy Zaman,
Founder/MD
LLB, LLM (Corporate & Commercial), LLM (Intellectual Property)
Peggy has over 15 years experience in assisting high school students apply to UK universities and US colleges. Peggy herself was offered numerous tennis scholarships in the US but opted to turn pro, obtaining a WTA ranking at the age of 19. After her career got cut short due to a major injury, she become an international corporate lawyer working in top tier firms in NY and Australia. Peggy herself attended Santa Clara University School of Law, a top 10 law school in the US.
Akram Zaman
Global Head of Capital Markets, Millennium, New York
B.A Columbia University, MBA (Harvard)
Akram received a full scholarship to USC but transferred to Columbia mid-way and majored in Finance and Economics. After working at Morgan Stanley for 3 years, Akram attended Harvard HBS returning to MS for another 7 years before joining Merrill Lynch (BAML). After a decade at BAML as Managing Director, Akram has spent the past several years as Global Head Capital of Capital Markets at Millenium in New York.
Salil Seshadri
Co-founder, One Madison Group,
B.A Columbia University
Salil received a full bursary to attend Columbia University to play sports. He majored in Economics and Finance, working for various finance companies before starting his own company One Madison Group in New York.
Laxmi Poruri
Senior Director of Client Growth, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP
Laxmi played tennis on the WTA tour reaching a ranking just over the top 100. Laxmi was a child tennis prodigy with her contemporary being Agassi, Seles and Michael Chang.
She opted to attend Stanford University after receiving a full ride graduating with a BA degree. After working for a few years at a top international company, she attended McGill University in Canada with an MBA.
Catherine Lee
Former Alibaba Snr Associate
Cathy was valedictorian at her high school and studied Computer Science at Cornell University. After several years of working for major international companies, she attended U.Penn (Wharton), graduating with an MBA. She worked for several years with Joe Tsai, Owner and co-founder of Alibaba.
Taj Gill
Former Partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell
Taj studied Computer Science and Law at Bond University - Australia's sole private university graduating at the top of his class. After a year teaching at Bond Uni, Taj attending Cambridge University graduating with a Masters of Law. After working at a prestigious international law firm in Sydney, Taj joined Davis Polk in New York. After a 25 year law career, including 20 years as a partner Taj retired in 2024 and enjoys his time mentoring young lawyers at Davis Polk as well as taking incredible photographs.
Karan Seghal
Partner & Portfolio Manager, One Madison Group, New York
Karan studied finance and economics at Columbia University. After a career working at Lazard, Morgan Stanley and a major hedge fund in New York, he partnered up at One Madison Group.
Ramnath Dukkipati
Nephrologist & Medical Director, Associate Professor, David Geffen School of Medicine, Harbour-UCLA Medical Centre
After studying medicine at KMC in India, Ramnath did his residency and fellowship at UCLA in nephrology. He has spent nearly 20 years at UCLA Medical Centre as a medical director specialising in interventional nephrology and dialysis access.
